Cookie files (the so-called “Cookies”) constitute IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the terminal device of the User and are aimed to use cookies; they usually include the name of the website they come from, time of their storage at the terminal device and a unique number. Cookie files facilitate, among others, development of the Website in line with the expectations and needs of the Users.
in4mates sp. z o.o. is the entity which places cookie files at the terminal device of the User and obtains access to them.
Cookie files are used in order to produce statistics which help to understand how the Users make use of the Website, which makes it possible to improve its structure and content.
Two main types of cookie files are applied within the Website: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files which are stored in the terminal device of the User until logging off, leaving a website or shutting down the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored in the terminal device of the User by the time specified in the parameters of the cookie files or by the time they are deleted by the User.
Cookie files do not contain identification data of the User. They are also not harmful to the device they use and do not change its settings and the settings of software installed on it. The content of cookie files may be read out only by the server which created them.
Web browser usually allows by default the storage of cookie files in the terminal device of the User. The Users may change settings in this respect. It is possible to automatically block cookie files. Web browser enables deleting cookie files. Detailed information in this respect are included in Help section or in the web browser documentation.
The User may change the settings of their browser as far as cookie files are concerned. Turning off of handling cookie files necessary for authentication processes, security and maintenance of User’s preferences may make it difficult or even impossible to use the Website.

Cookie files may be used by advertising networks, in particular Google network, to display ads adjusted to the manner in which the User makes use of the Website. To this end, they may keep the information on the User’s navigation path or the time spent on a given website.

Server logs
Information on certain User behavior is subject to logging into a server layer. Such data are used entirely in order to manage the Website and in order to ensure the most efficient handling of the hosting services provided.
Resources viewed are identified via URLs. The following may be subject to recording:
time of query arrival,
time of sending reply,
name of the User’s station – identification done via HTTP protocol,
information on errors that occurred during execution of HTTP transaction,
URL of the website previously visited by the User (referer link) – in the event when the Website was accessed via link,
information on the User’s browser,
information on IP address.
